Fighting War with Art

Ukraine Aid Ops' Victory Gallery art project is an initiative to turn war artifacts into art. UAO collects military artifacts provided by Ukrainian soldiers and works with local artists in Ukraine to incorporate them into art. The UAO Victory Gallery is also the perfect address for militaria and war memorabilia collectors - offering exclusive pieces from the battlefield.

Our objective is to convert remnants of conflict into artwork with the idea of art defeating the aggressor's evil. The produced artwork will be available as perks for certain donations and proceeds will be used to equip the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The net proceeds of your purchase will go into purchasing life-saving helmets, plates, or other items that may well save a life. Ukraine Aid Operations is run by volunteers from many countries across the world and is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity in the United States.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are all Victory Gallery items made from real battlefield shells?

Yes! All items are made from shells and atifact collected on the Ukrainian battlefield. This includes for instance pieces of SU34 planes, MI-17 helicopters, 30mm shells, tank shells, missiles, ammunition or tanks.

How long will my shipment take?

Due to war conditions, shipment can take up to 2-4 months (unless stated otherwise).

Do you offer custom orders?

Yes, the Victory Gallery also offers custom orders. Please contact lenny@ukraineaidops.org for requests and further information.

I live far away (e.g. US, Australia or Japan) in a country with tight import regulations. Can I still make an order?

Yes, we ship worldwide! Since our items are clearly art-related, we also never experienced problems in countries with tight import regulations.

Can I make an additional donation?

Yes! During the checkout process, you can make an additional donation for our work in Ukraine. 100% of your donation is used to buy equipment for the defenders of Ukraine.

How is the raised money used?

Ukraine Aid Operations is an international group of civilian volunteers securing protective gear and life-saving equipment, delivered directly into the hands of front line defenders in Ukraine. All proceeds from the Victory Gallery are used to buy equipment for the defenders of Ukraine.

We provide...

  • Protective gear (e.g. helmets, plates, safety goggles, ear protection) 
  • Clothing (e.g. winter uniforms, shoes, thermal underwear, gloves)
  • Technical equipment (e.g. secure radios, night vision devices, drones)
  • Medical and other equipment (e.g. IFAKs, sleeping bags, generators)
  • Vehicles (e.g. ambulances, med-evac cars)

Is my purchase tax-deductible?

We have been granted public charity 501(c)(3) tax exempt status in the US from the IRS in the name of our fundraising arm, "United Aid and Logistics Foundation". For US tax-payers, this means:

  • Donations to us that don’t involve Victory Gallery or similar items or services can be tax deductible to the full extent of the law for those who file US income taxes.

  • Donations which receive Victory Gallery or similar items in return can be partially deductible for US tax-payers, namely the amount paid above the fair market value (FMV) of the object. The amount above the fair market value is formally a donation and can be tax-deductible. If you completed a transaction which includes an item, you should receive a disclosure stating both the fair market value of the object and the total amount you paid for it (we provide this disclosure around the end of the financial year). This disclosure can be used as a receipt for your tax declaration. If you don’t see an FMV for an object your are interested in, please contact us and we will provide it.

  • To our knowledge at this time donations of any type to us are not tax deductible in other countries than the US.

Acts Lots Charity

Famous Ukrainian actors and artists, Anna Huliaieva, Vlad Nikityuk, Nastya Tsymbalaru, & Gregory Baklanov, members of the Acts Lots charity jumped on the opportunity to help raise funds for the Ukrainian Armed Forces and remind the world of the urgent need to stop the Russian terrorist state. Each actor created a unique mosaic for the Victory Gallery fundraising initiative incorporating military artifacts obtained from the fronlines.
